Pearl Ligeryuu are some of the shyest of the bunch. They make their homes close to the sea, usually up on lonely cliffs where they can see everything.
Ligeryuu are a hybrid of Lion, Tiger, and Dragon. The first Ligeryuu to have been born came from the parents of a Liger and Dragon whom had fallen madly in love. The result was a fearsome creature that grew to be over twenty feet tall in just a couple of thousand years. He terrorized the lands, and mated with any creature he thought beautiful enough to be worth his time.
Every Ligeryuu is born with a stone. Sometimes it is hidden in their flesh, sometimes it is showing, and sometimes it is not connected to their bodies. This gem is known as their soul gem. It contains highly concentrated magical energy that can be harnessed for just about anything the Ligeryuu desires. Only by breaking the gem can one hope to kill a Ligeryuu or mortally wound it. With it's gem fractured it cannot use it's great magical abilities, and it's regeneration abilities are almost completely null.
A ligeryuu can sustain immense damage to it's physical form and be fine so long as the gem is in tact. Also, due to their magical skill they have the ability to switch between a beast form and a humanoid or anthro-form. The more driven by instinct they are, the more likely they'll stay in their beast form.
Anyways! This is just supposed to be a quick auction. I want to see how many people like the idea of these guys. I was thinking they'd all have different gems/precious minerals as their stones/themes. Depending on how this goes I might make some more!
Once it's yours you can change the hair, add piercings, etc.
